The 2010 Art Walk Season will kickoff April 2 with a solo show for popular dk Gallery artist, Susan Easton Burns. Burns work is best described as Abstract-Expressionism, magical and life-changing.
Burns work is shown in galleries throughout the United States and collected by art lovers around the world. Winning many art shows and competitions through the years, one of Burn’s most personally exciting highlight was being the Official Artist of the 2009 Atlanta Steeplechase.
Inspired by Jackson Pollock, Lucian Freud and Frank Auerbach, Susan’s work entices viewers to stop for a long gaze. dk Gallery owner, Donna Krueger, says “It is such an honor and privilege to represent Susan. To hear the emotion patrons feel when they see Susan’s work is
such a joy.”
