Born in 1961 in Augsburg, Germany, Fonde Taylor comes from a family of artists. He took an interest in painting and furniture making in his thirties and has been a dedicated artist ever since. A graduate of Auburn University, Taylor is married with two children and lives in Birmingham, Alabama.
